Yeaveley Estate Ltd – Estate Rules for use of Rifle Ranges

When attending Yeaveley Estate to shoot there are a few simple, basic rules that need to be observed whilst shooting there.

  • Please do NOT drive on the grass
  • Park only in the Car Park areas – not on the grass.
  • Do not drive up to the Range unless given permission to do so.
  • Toilets are situated at The Lodge & are open all the time.
  • Breakages/damages on the Range please report to the Gunroom immediately 01335 330247 – leave a message.
  • Paint targets after use/Patch/Repair as required. Put ALL rubbish in the bins provided.
  • Only Targets issued by the Estate to be used OR Approved targets.No cans/cartridge cases/oddball targets etc to be shot under ANY circumstances.
  • Speed Steel targets must only be shot using .22” rimfire ammunition.
  • Target woodwork & damage to Range furniture is expressly forbidden
  • All firearms to be carried to/from the range in Gun bags/Slips/cases.
  • Range Flag to be flown BEFORE commencing firing.
  • Ear defenders/safety specs to be worn by ALL persons on the Range.
  • Range Rules to be observed at ALL times.
  • Range Returns tickets to be posted in the Returns Post Box at the Shooting Lodge before leaving the Estate.
  • Unauthorised photography and filming of any kind is strictly forbidden
  • Posting on any Social media platform is strictly forbidden without the authority of Yeaveley Estate
  • No dogs/pets permitted
  • Strictly no alcohol/drugs to be consumed
  • Firearms must not be left unattended at any time
